Cleaning Candles Scented Candle Care Burning

cleaning candles Cleaning Candles Scented Candle Care Burning

· Should the mouth of a container candle become blackened while burning, simply extinguish the candle, allow to cool and carefully wipe the container's rim with a dry paper towel. To avoid such blackening, keep the wick trimmed 1/8" to 1/4" at all times.

· Clean soiled candles with a piece of nylon or use a touch of salad oil on a soft cloth.

· To remove hardened wax from holders, place the holder in a freezer for about 30 minutes or until the wax has loosened, then carefully pop it out with your fingers. Votive candles will clean easily if you add 1/8" of water to the holders before inserting the candle.

· To remove the silicone globe, which holds the wick, at the bottom of candle containers, pour a little Goo Gone or Nail Polish Remover into the base of the container and let sit before working loose.
